According to the spokeswoman Liz Harrington, this transaction would value TMTG to more than 1 billion USD. The chairperson of this new group will be the former president himself. According to Trump, this new group would form “a rival to the liberal media consortium”. Launching of a new social platform called TRUTH Social is considered as the first step of this newly formed group. Trump stated that the new social media platform would “stand up to the tyranny of big tech”.
TRUTH Social app is now available for pre order in Apple store, according to the recent press release. From November 2021, a beta version of the app will be made available for inviting guests to join this group. The final release of this app will take place within the first quarter of the next year, according to Trump. He also said that he was excited about his new project and he plans to “fight back against big tech”.
